We offer a wide variety of classes ranging from Puppy Kindergarten, through Advanced Competitive Obedience and Agility. Classes are offered weekdays, weeknights and weekends. Please see the individual class descriptions below, and refer to our schedule for the exact day and time of each class.

Please consult with your vet, breeder, and trainer for the best time to join a class. All of our classes are ongoing - you may start at any time.
Ultimate Puppy Class focuses on exercises in socialization, confidence building, and leadership to help your puppy grow to be a well-adjusted dog. In addition, we will provide information on housetraining, bite inhibition, preventing chewing, and preventing common behavior problems. You will receive an Ultimate Puppy Toolkit when you enroll in this class. This class is for puppies ages 8 to 18 weeks.

Start your dog off on the right paw! K9 Kindergarten is a great start for puppies aged 8 to 16 weeks. K9 Junior High is for puppies from 16 weeks though 8 months of age. Both of these classes are 6 week sessions, and concentrate on building a solid foundation, including socialization exercises with people and dogs, household manners, leash walking, and leadership establishment. Problem prevention and solving will be the main focus of these classes.
Our K9 Senior High class is for dogs 8 months and older, and uses the foundation from "Kindergarten" and "Jr. High" to teach basic household obedience such as Sit, Down, Stay, Come, Leash Walking, and Problem Solving. This is a 6 week class.
Prerequisite: any basic obedience class. This class will cover and polish all exercises needed to complete AKC certification as a Canine Good Citizen (CGC). CGC is open to all dogs. The exercises covered are stays, recalls, sits, downs, acceptance of grooming and the approach of a stranger, walking through a crowd, approaching another dog, and supervised separation. Also, prepare your dog for certification as a therapy dog. Rewarding work with seniors, developmentally and physically challenged, abuse shelters, and hospitals. This is a 6 week class. Did they say they would take care of the dog and then leave it to you?? Help them to hold up their end of the bargain. This is a fun class focusing on responsible ownership, basic obedience, and an introduction to agility. This is a 1 week camp. (Prerequisites: a dog and a kid)
These classes will teach all exercises and handling techniques for AKC and UKC competition obedience from Novice to Utility including non-regular classes. The classes will be offered as Novice/Open and Open/Utility. These are 6 week classes and private lessons are available.
A gathering of dogs and owners to train together. Guidance and instruction are available if desired or needed. Training Parties are Sunday mornings on a drop-in basis. We strongly suggest calling ahead to let us know you are coming. We frequently hold "run thrus" to simulate a show atmosphere for training and proofing purposes.
Agility is one of the most exciting things you can do with your dog! We offer classes ranging from the Introduction to Agility Obstacles and Learning Theory, through advanced, Competitive Agility. Most classes are 6 week sessions and private lessons are available. Training Parties are every Sunday, and we frequently hold "run thrus". Come have some fun with your dog!!!
Dreaming of showing your dog at Westminster Kennel Club? Take a breed handling class taught by professional handlers. Learn how to stack your dog to show him off in his best light, learn gaiting techniques, and socialize puppies. This is a 6 week class. Instructors will rotate for this class.
Junior Showmanship offers children the opportunity to compete with others of their own age in Junior Showmanship classes. Junior classes were developed, by the AKC, to recognize and support the unique relationship between a child and a dog, to encourage responsible dog ownership, and to secure a place for these youngsters in the fancy of today and that of the future, as they become adults. Juniors develop their handling skills, learn about good sportsmanship, and learn about dogs and dog shows. This is a 6 week class.
